Because we believe in the value of formal education and the doors it can open, the Smith Family is pleased to offer four $500 scholarships to talented students graduating from high school in 2026 who will be attending a 4-year college starting in 2026.
The Scholarships
A total of four scholarships will be awarded.
- Each scholarship is $500.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student with a major related to pastoral studies/ biblical studies/ theology.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student studying engineering.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student studying physics, mathematics, or chemistry.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a student studying business or economics.
Qualifications
This scholarship opportunity is open to high school seniors who are graduating in 2026 and will be attending a 4-year U.S. college/university beginning in 2026.
- Create a short video (1-4 minutes) sharing about your plans for college and what you’d like to do in the future.
- You must have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- You must be majoring in one of the four groups listed above.
Video Requirements
Your video must include:
- Your name (first and last)
- The high school that you’re graduating from
- The college you’ll be attending
- Your upcoming college major
To Submit Your Application
Deadline: May 1, 2026
- Create your video and upload it to a video sharing platform (e.g. Youtube, Vimeo) – make sure that your video is publicly accessible
- Complete the application form below
The four winners will be notified via email by May 15, 2026
By submitting an application you agree that we may use your name and/ or parts of your video to help promote our scholarships in the future. We reserve the right to display and write about applicants and winners on our websites, and other websites, in articles, magazines, books, etc. We will never sell or share any of your other information with any person or entity outside of our organization.
